Adam Kendall | Online Product Manager
Having completed his DIS Industry Placement with the company in 2008, and then graduated from Loughborough University with a First in BSc Air Transport Management, Adam rejoined RDC Aviation in 2009.
He is responsible for the uptime and development of all our online systems with a focus on front-end design. In his new role as Product Manager, Adam is keen to take our products to the next generation of user experience and maintain their status as market-leading systems. He brings a customer focus that ensures our systems are easy and enjoyable to use, and remain at the forefront of technology.
Adam is also a keen marketer and plays an active role in the development of our brand, looking after social media and design of marketing campaigns.
Outside of his work he likes to keep fit through hiphop dance, football and golf, and enjoys travelling and investing in the latest gadgets and technology.
Ian Robins | Senior Product Support Analyst
Ian had 5 years experience in aviation finance at bmi before joining RDC Aviation in 2005. His roles at bmi consisted of creating and analysing financial and management accounts, company-wide budget structures and route costings.
At RDC Aviation his roles are centred around our online products where he is responsible the creation, maintenance and integrity of data of our three online products. He is also involved in the maintenance and creation of environmental data and reports.
Outside of work he enjoys football, golf, film, TV and music.
Niels van Alten | Product Support Analyst
During his study of Aviation Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Amsterdam, Niels gathered experience in aviation through internships at Qantas and RDC Aviation. At his time at RDC Aviation Niels was mainly responsible for the creation of the routepro.net cost database.
After graduation Niels joined RDC Aviation as a Product Analyst. In his role he is responsible for the content, accuracy and integrity of the routepro.net cost database. Niels also supports the consultancy department, providing knowledge about aircraft performance and detailed analysis.
Outside of work Niels enjoys travelling, visiting his family back home in The Netherlands and watching movies.
Tom Warsop | Junior Developer
Tom successfully defended his PhD thesis in 2011 in the Department of Computer Science at Loughborough University. He demonstrated a new method for self-learning common structures in a monocular video sequence for increasing computational efficiency when recovering three-dimensional scenes.
Since then Tom has worked in industry developing a variety of web-based solutions. He has mainly worked for an addressing management company, which hosts web services for web site address lookup. He worked on a variety of projects including responsive web sites, internal management systems and fuzzy matching for address lookup.
He joined RDC Aviation in 2013 as a software developer where he currently spends his time working on new web-based systems and helps streamline current processes.
Outside of work Tom is a keen runner, completing his first full marathon in 2012 and has even dabbled in triathlons.
