The challenge
SunExpress operates scheduled services connecting Europe with destinations across Türkiye on a fleet of Boeing 737s. Managing airport charges across that network falls to two dedicated internal teams: one responsible for contract and tariff management, another for invoice verification and route cost calculations. Both work with tariff data every day.
Before adopting AirportCharges, SunExpress used a system that didn't include full data coverage and, crucially, did not provide access to official tariff documents. When information was incomplete, teams had to visit individual airport and authority websites to locate what they needed. With data spread across multiple sources, consolidating information required significant manual effort, creating opportunities to further streamline workflows and strengthen data consistency.
