The frequency at which airports update their fees and charges for aircraft varies, from multiple updates each year, to annual updates through to less frequent updates.
In 2025, our data team have made 2,366 updates to 1,827 airports as shown in the map below. This highlights that over 500 airports have made multiple updates to their fees and charges documents in 2025.

These updates cover a multitude of individual fee and charge elements, including:
- Runway
- Passenger
- Security
- Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM)
- Aircraft parking
- Aircraft noise
- Aircraft emissions
- Infrastructure
- Terminal navigation
- Government passenger taxes
- Incentive schemes
The above elements can vary depending on aircraft model, aircraft weight, number of passengers on board, destination and even the aircraft engines.
Taking these individual elements into account this equates to over 290,000 fees and charges changes in 2025, all of which are available in AirportCharges. Every single one of these 290,000 fees and charges changes can alter an airline\aircraft operator’s airport charge costs.
Our team have already collected airport fees and charges for 2026. As of the end of 2025, 248 airports had already published new charges, a figure that more than doubled to 692 airports by February 2026
