Understanding our partner’s needs and listening to feedback about our products and services has always been a core value at RDC, and our newest service, LOOP, is no exception.
It’s now over a year since we officially launched the LOOP platform and the uptake has totally exceeded our expectations. Based on the results of a recent user survey, LOOP is clearly meeting the needs of the market.
The survey was distributed to all LOOP users, around 700 individuals, with respondents being entered into a prize draw.
Across all survey respondents, customer satisfaction (CSAT) hit an impressive 85%
The key ‘value-add’ features available in the LOOP Professional Plan that were identified as the most important to users were:
- Rapid access to the most recent and relevant data
- The ability to export results in a customised format for offline analysis, internal distribution and upload to third party systems
- The provision of email notifications whenever a change occurs.
Airlines within the LOOP community are benefiting from having a single source of truth to store and distribute their fleet data.
A prize draw winner from Croatia Airlines said: ‘Since joining LOOP, requests for fleet data have decreased significantly. Previously I would receive requests from multiple airports for updates, and with LOOP, those requests are greatly reduced. With a single ‘’focal’ point for fleet data, it is easy to keep information up to date, removing the need to spend time trying to inform airports about fleet data changes.‘
User feedback provided some superb ideas for future enhancements to LOOP, so watch this space!
LOOP provides a secure, centralised resource that allows operators to upload and manage their aircraft data and documents in one place, choosing who to share them with. Airports and ANSPs are able to configure, view and download data for all of their airline customers, choosing which data fields they need, what order they want it, the units to be used and how to name each field, meaning data can be added directly to finance and other operational systems without the need for any other manual process.
