Updated Findings
As of 24rd February 2026, 692 airports worldwide have now published updated fees and charges for 2026, these airports are shown in the map below. This more than doubles the number reported in our original article.

Regional Distribution
As can be seen in Chart 1 Europe and Asia remain the leading regions for early publication of 2026 charges, consistent with the trend highlighted in the original article. However, the number of airports in Europe has more than tripled to 370 airports with new 2026 charges in place which equates to 53% of airports with new charges in place. After Europe and Asia, South America and North America are the next regions with 83 and 77 airports respectively.

Scale of Charge Updates
The expanded dataset now includes 120,232 individual charge updates, a substantial increase from the nearly 28,000 updates previously identified. Each of these updates has the potential to influence an airline or aircraft operator’s cost structure, making timely access to accurate data essential.
All updates are already available to existing customers within AirportCharges and through the AirportCharges API, ensuring operators can incorporate the latest information into their planning and forecasting.
